Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

Stay here and enjoy stunning sea views, peaceful nature and a refined yet homely interior. Watch glowing sunsets or passing whales and dolphins and the romantic mist over the cliffs with the sound of waves as your constant backdrop. Relax by the fireplace in the spacious double‑storey lounge, cook in the fully equipped open‑plan kitchen and work with fast fibre and a “ready‑to‑plug‑in” office setup. Ocean Hideaway provides unique self-catering accommodation 2 minute walk from spectacular Long Beach, one of South Africa's top surfing beaches. Everything that you need to make your holiday perfect is readily available in our much loved coastal village of Kommetjie. Walk to the deli and coffee shops or enjoy locally brewed beers at our restaurants. Paddle out for a special surf experience and enjoy the magnificent ocean view with sundowner at the end of the day at the end Melkhout Avenue.

Indoor as well as outdoor barbecue areas means anytime entertaining, while enjoying the majestic, unique sunsets. .A back gate opens onto the hillside behind the house where you can enjoy a leisurely hike. On rainy days you can snuggle up in front of the fire to watch a movie in the home cinema.

Brand new 3 Bedroom House with open plan living. The House has a pool and outdoor deck with a garden. The house have beautiful views of the valley and mountains in Hout Bay. Located in a neighbourhood in Hout Bay close to restaurants and shops. Cape Town is a 30 min drive and Chapmans peak and constant wine farms on your doorstep. There is 3 bedrooms one onsite with a king size bed and 2 bedrooms with 1 queen size bed and a king size bed. We now have back up power during load shedding.
