Beautiful Studio on lower level of our family home within walking distance to downtown San Rafael. Custom kitchen and bathroom with shower. The outdoor patio area is just for guests and is a great spot to sit in the evenings. Although we recommend a car - we are close to bus and ferry routes to San Francisco. Perfectly situated for hiking, mountain biking or trips to Napa Valley. Strictly no pets because of host’s allergies. There are stairs from street to the entrance.

Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.

Walk to MV/Muir/Tam- room w/bath/deck/sep-entrance

Large room with separate entrance, private bathroom & deck in a stunning redwood grove on the Dipsea steps. Right out your door are trails to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. Downtown Mill Valley’s fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and bars are a ten minute stroll down the steps (along with a superb music scene). You’ll have on site parking, laundry, safe storage and views of Mt. Tam.
