While goats are part of the charm, they’re just the beginning—you may also see a variety of rescued animals during your visit. If you love animals and a one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll feel right at home here! We are about 150 ft from the Mousam River, and guests have access to kayaks (for free!) Come relax in rural Brooks. Enjoy a fire under the star filled sky and wake up to the sound of roosters crowing. The camper has all the amenities of home, but we are next door if anything else is needed. We have dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks! We are happy to show you the animals or you are welcome to just peacefully enjoy your stay! Brooks is 15 minutes from Belfast, 40 minutes from Camden and 45 minutes from Bangor. We have many suggestions of fun places to visit during your stay!!

Relax, re-charge and enjoy the peace that comes from spending time near the ocean and under the stars. Our tents have all the comforts of home. Linens, towels, bath products and kitchen supplies. Our family owned glampground is just 4 miles from Acadia N.P. This tent has a full bathroom, two comfy queen beds, a long bunk bed, outfitted kitchenette, kitchen table and outside deck. There is a communal fire pit and a shed full of games. Check out the Woods of Eden Glampground in Bar Harbor.

Little Frog at The Howling Woods

There is an airiness to this dome-shaped hut. Light streams in from the skylight directly overhead. There is a full size bed and wood stove and a chair that folds into a cot. The home is located in a sunny clearing across the creek from the other homes. It is a short walk from the outhouse and a well where you can fill your water bottles with fresh spring water. There is a bonfire pit with a swivel grill and an outdoor kitchenette with a propane stove, frying pan, kettle and french press.
