For those wanting a more active break there are countryside walks straight from the door, use of a shared fitness room and tennis court. Alternatively, the area has several National Trust houses, beautiful gardens and the Ashdown Forest to explore. A car is essential! The cottage is well equipped and furnished to a good standard, as seen in the photos.

The Old Stables, Dovecote Farm

The Old Stables is a self contained two bedroom, detached annexe with direct access to the Ashdown Forest. A perfect place to stay while discovering the Forest and all its' walks, including Pooh Sticks Bridge, Friends Clump and all the other locations in the Winnie the Pooh books. The Old Stables is self catering, with a small kitchenette with microwave, two pan hob, fridge and coffee machine. If required we are able to provide a welcome pack of essentials at an extra cost.

The master bedroom has a double bed and the lounge has a brand new futon which opens out into another double bed. Peacehaven has all the shops you need within 2 minute walking distance. Brighton City Centre is a 15 minute bus or car journey. Your hosts, Tony and Chrissy are very welcoming and caring.
