"Bohemian Bungalow" Studio Island Guest Cottage

Enjoy a peaceful getaway in this cozy cottage. Centrally located on Islesboro, the "Bohemian Bungalow" provides easy access to everything the island has to offer. Walk to nearby beaches, tennis courts, or the Historical Society, which hosts art shows, lectures, and other events. The studio sleeps two on a full-size futon sofa, and features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom, and outdoor dining area. These cabins feature almost 400 square feet of living space with kitchenette, dining area and private bathroom. Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

In Somesville Village (on a main road) with Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor minutes away. The house has a kitchen with dining area, 3 bedrooms, and 1 bath. We are year round residents and love to share our home ,garden, field and woods.

Meadow Point Cottage

Meadow Point cottage is located on a very quiet five acre property with panoramic views of Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Island. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.

Lamoine Thuya Cottage

I hope you will enjoy this beautiful area of the U.S. from Thuya Cottage that I designed and built in 2008 using beams from my property. It is a weekly rental. Its named for the Thuya Cedar Tree visible from my round window. Go past #23, #41, my home. Drive s!ow!y to avoid wildlife! Bedroom and bath are upstairs and the kitchen has provisions.
