A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! Tern II is located on NW side of Mount Desert Island with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths in the main house. A separate1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is availble for $250. A private dock and pebble beach is yours for swimming or launching your canoe or kayak. Spectacular sunsets are viewed from the deck. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor are all easy access. Enjoy this undisturbed quiet cove with abundant wild life: seals, porpoises, loons, bald eagles, ospreys, and starfish

Fern Tiny House is 15 min. to Acadia National Park's entrance & 10 min. to the new Gateway Center where you can catch an Island Explorer bus to Acadia, Schoodic & Bar Harbor. When your adventures conclude, this comfortable and private tiny home will continue your immersion in nature with large windows that capture the sunrise and the stars at night from the luxurious king bed. The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Located at the top of Somes Sound and midway between Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor, Azalea Knoll is a hidden gem - a perfect location for everything Mt. Desert Island offers.
