Lakewood Lofts - On The Lake

Welcome to Lakewood Lofts set on the shores of Lake Te Anau. You’ll enjoy the stunning lake and mountain view’s from our tastefully refurbished rooms. We are a short 5 minute stroll to the heart of the Te Anau village. After a big day in the elements, arrive back to a cosy private room relax and enjoy the beautiful lake vista. Lakes Edge Backpackers - Bed in shared 6 bed dorm

Stay in a comfortable bed within a shared 6-bed dorm at Lakes Edge Lodge, set right on the shores of Lake Tekapo. Perfect for solo travellers looking for a relaxed, social stay with incredible lake and mountain views. Each guest books a single bed, with access to shared bathroom, kitchen, and lounge facilities. Tekapo Village is just a 10-minute walk (or 1-minute drive), with cafés, restaurants, and local attractions nearby. Free pick-up is available from the 12:05pm Intercity bus on request.

We are are a long term stay hostel, set up for backpackers who are stopping in Christchurch for a while to work and save for their next stage of travel and students studying nearby. We are just down the road from Ara. You will be part of a shared house overseen by Pipi the cat.
