Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Recently it was renovated with a larger kitchen and a braai room as shelter from summer southerly winds and to catch sun on winter afternoons. A private rock pool is 150m from the stoep

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. "The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

Our rates are charged PER PERSON/per room. There is a large living area with full DSTV & a wood burning stove. Please note that you may only use wood (no charcoal ) in the stove. Pse bring your own wood. Stacking doors open onto a patio with a braai (barbeque) & gorgeous sea views - ideal for alfresco dining.

La Mer offers guests the opportunity to stay right on the beach, close to restaurants. This ideally situated self-catering unit offers the best views of the ocean, the beach and breathtaking sunsets. In case of a power failure, an inverter and back up batteries are installed and we will do our best to ensure that the lights, TV and Wi-Fi are working. This is a developing town and building activity is taking place in the area. Unfortunately no children or pets.
