A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. Set atop a hill on five acres of land, Paul’s cabin is a beautiful retreat where you and your loved ones can get away from it all to enjoy nature. Enjoy panoramic mountain views, unrivaled sunsets, and nearby rafting, hiking, fishing, and four-wheeling. This mountain log home is ideal for family get-togethers and large groups. It offers plenty of sleeping space inside, plus an RV hookup and private land for camping. PLEASE NOTE: Four-wheel drive is required to access the cabin in the winter.

Stay with us and visit the Santa Express or Holiday train Nov 11 to Dec 30 in Canon City.

We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A modernized log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. Explore the backcountry or walk along BV's Peaks View trail. One turn and you’re headed up Cottonwood Pass for hot springs, hiking or a show at the drive-in. Or, bike or walk toward town for Turner Farm music, BV's restaurants and shopping a mile to the east and the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond.

A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest. Our cabin is perfectly located in the small mountain town of Buena Vista. It’s a short distance to downtown, South Main, and the gold medal fishing and world class whitewater on the Arkansas River. However, it has a quiet secluded feel and easy access to the hot springs that are just outside of town. You’ll love our cottage because of the well-kept stylish interior, the park-like outdoor space, and great views. It’s an ideal base camp for couples and solo adventurers.
