It's a great base for local activities. Clear creek to cool down in or great swimming holes only a short drive. We are on the NZ Cycle trail.

Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

There is space for 7 guests and the location is handy to town and the Turoa ski field road. In cold weather snuggle up with plenty of throws, cushions and a warm fire. No parties allowed.
