Gypsum is 4 miles from the Eagle Airport,24 miles east of Glenwood Springs and located between Vail and Aspen. This area offers skiing,flyfishing, rafting, hiking, biking, horse riding and many other activities.

Hear the river at the Frying Pan Studio

Basalt's location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended. We accept pets at the studio, either one large or 2 small; there is a $50 pet fee. Please let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that the pet be kennel if left behind while you go out. Obey Town of Basalt's leash and patrol ordinances. Drop cloths provided if they are allowed on furniture.

The space is on your own floor, completely separated from our upstairs space and with a private entrance. This charming apartment is situated in the heart of Old Town, Basalt, just one block above the center of town. It has a private patio and garden and is steps away from Basalt's restaurants, shopping, galleries and the world class Frying Pan River. Our two town bikes make it easy to grab fresh provisions at Skips Market, a farm store down the street . The RFTA bus stop is downtown for easy transit to Aspen, Highlands and Snowmass ski areas and the surrounding area.
