It is quiet amongst the Redwoods, with ample on street parking and is very close to San Francisco, Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, downtown Mill Valley, Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Sausalito, Tiburon, bike paths and mountain bike trails.

The quaint town offers gourmet restaurants, the Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, cafes, shopping, trail heads and a movie theater. The apartment is located in a walkable flat area, but also steps away from great hiking and biking. There is plentiful free and safe parking on the street.
