Great place to stay. Feels like home.

We (family of 4 plus 2 dogs) stayed with Mary in March 2024. Part of the warm welcome on arrival was fresh bread, milk, butter in the fridge and the tea and coffee basics ready to go. Everything was clean and comfortable and despite the poor weather the storage heaters kept all rooms warm. There's great power in the downstairs shower to refresh after a long day on the water. Mary has chosen an upside down layout with lovely views from your armchair. The cottage is next to a farm yard (it's so clean you can walk around in shoes) with a dairy heard so the kids got to see week old calves. Mary had advice on where to eat in Skibbereen and Baltimore, advice that was correct! A couple of minutes from Skibbereen it's an ideal place to base yourself for exploring West Cork.

Had a great week in our Abbey Farm house. We had everything we needed and it was really clean. It was great to be able to bring the dog too and she was able to play with our neighbours dog too. Very comfortable and great location in Cork making so many parts and the beautiful coast of Cork so accessible. Hope to be back soon.

We really enjoyed our week at Abbey Farm. Mary and Aidan were wonderful hosts. The cottage was ideal, spotlessly clean, had everything you’d need and was dog friendly too. Our toddler loved being on the farm and seeing the cows and tractors. It was only a few minutes drive into Skibb and was great base to explore West Cork. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
