很舒适干净的木屋，需要自己向壁炉里加燃料供暖，卧室里有小的取暖器，整体体验很好

We had a wonderful stay and feel luckily to be able to stay in such an amazing location. This is a great place for mountain people. You can ski from 2 blocks away to the Royal Gorge XC ski area. Things for families to be aware of: the mattress on the top bunk is at the same as the guard rail so it wasn’t usable for our kiddo. Sheet size is very specific so we didn’t have the right size sheets. You need king for the bed next to the room with the bunk beds. Queen is on the bottom floor. Drawers and closets are full of things so there is no place to unpack for longer stays. I couldn’t figure out how to run hot water in the kitchen. No garage. Otherwise this is my dream mountain home.

Clean, well-equipped, well-kept and affordable cabin in a beautiful location. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for up to 7 people. Jeff is a responsive and accommodating host.

Great cabin for families. The pellet stove was easy to operate and kept the cabin nice and warm. The kitchen is well supplied for home cooking and the dining room table sits 8. There had been a lot of snow before we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised at how clear the driveway had been plowed. There is room to park two or three cars.

Pros: great location with lots of snow for sledding outside, cleaned well except for on curtains there was dust built up on top, plenty of sleeping space with multiple beds as described and the pull out futon was surprisingly comfortable. Cons: I think the reason why I have to give this place 3 stars is not because of the house or the location, but the convenience factor of staying here. We had to pack our own flat and fitted sheets, towels, and pillow cases, which we expected to do, but it created a lot of bulk in our packing, which was inconvenient while already packing all this winter gear that’s bulky. There weren’t any trash cans in the bathrooms, which made it very inconvenient to throw trash away, such as contact lens cases, tissues, and hair pulled up from the drain. We basically had to save these in the bathroom upstairs until someone was going downstairs to throw it away. We were also expected to take our trash home with us. We didn’t have much room left in the trunk!
