If you are looking for a convenient place just a jump from the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can't go wrong with Wendy's airBnB. The location is wonderful - very peaceful; close to Floyd (for music fans). If you plan to do a lot of cooking, the kitchen is sufficient for quick breakfasts and convenient foods, but there is no oven - just a toaster oven and cook plates. Fine for a short stay. The place is very comfortable.

This was my second stay at Wendy's place. Both stays were fantastic. The location is amazing. Right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, it's very peaceful.

This was my second time staying at Wendy's place. It is exactly what I need on my way down the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is literally less than 1 minute from the parkway to Wendy's house. You can see the parkway from the house. There are cows all around. It really is the perfect setting. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the linens smell peaceful and heavenly. The ONLY downside to staying here is that there is no walkway to get into the house so you have to walk through the grass. When it's been rainy and the grass is wet, you drag it inside, then you feel awful because the space is just so lovely. Oh.... her pottery is beautiful. Definitely check out her little shop!

Staying at Wendy's lovely home led to such wonderful opportunities and experiences! We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and fell completely in love with the area. Thank you so much Wendy!
