We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Lavanda for one week. From the initial reservation through to our departure, the hosts could not have done more and the communication was excellent. The villa itself is conveniently situated in Mali Iz and was immaculate!! It is a recently renovated property and has been finished to a very high standard. The inside of the property is cosy and welcoming while the covered patio area and beautiful pool is well equipped for outdoor living. The area is very quiet and allows for a very relaxing holiday. As a family of 4, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quality of the accommodation and the extremely helpful and friendly hosts made it a very memorable holiday.

We stayed in the lovely Guesthouse Lavanda in late May (still considered low season) with our small baby and my parents, it was just perfect. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living and kitchen area. Though the area we spent most our time was in the outdoors, it has a lovely big dining table, also has cooking facilities and outdoor fire, not to mention the pool and great views. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, they even organised a cot for our baby. Everything we needed was there and quickly responded to any queries. They also organised us a boat tour of the Kornati islands and to a salt lake. The island of Iz is small and although easy to get to, not many ferries go to it making it quite romote, which is a part of its charm. Everybody knows everyone and by the end of the week we knew a few of the locals too. It had everything we needed for a week stay. There were 2 restaurants and 2 bars open in Mali Iz open while we were there in low season and lots more options in bigger Veli Iz, a short drive away. There is a small shop in Mali Iz selling groceries and fresh bread every morning. I would recommend to bring anything unusual from mainland, we also struggled to find fresh meat and fish. Only thing to watch out for is the number of steps to get to the property, about 80 up to the road and same again down to the shop/waterfront, it didn't bother us but for the less mobile it might be tricky. I would highly recommend staying here for a getaway in Croatia and defiantly stay here again.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Haus ist wunderschön und der Pool ist toll. Es gibt eine grosse überdachte Terrasse mit einem Kamin. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und ideal zum ausspannen. Ich kann das Guesthouse Lavanda nur jedem empfehlen.

Das Haus Lavanda war eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Es war alles wie beschrieben, sehr schönes, sauberes Haus mit einer tollen Terrasse oberhalb eines kleinen malerischen Ortes gelegen, man kann 5 Minuten vom Haus ins Meer hüpfen, alles super! Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin, vielen Dank!! Wir würden gerne bald wieder kommen!
