Great farm life, country feel atmosphere. We had kids with our group and they loved seeing the sheep and the cattle and the chickens! Lots of room to run and play. Bonfires at night, close to beautiful beaches. House was spotless and stocked with all amenities plus anything else you could think of. Lots of room throughout the entire home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Margaree! Would highly recommend and we hope to be back! Thanks so much for everything. 10/10
This places did not disappoint! Accommodations were clean, spacious, and equipped with anything you would possibly need. Ann was a wonderful host, and the neighbors could not be friendlier. The view is spectacular, and it was so fun “being on the farm!”
It is a large comfortable house in an absolutely beautiful and quiet pastoral setting. Our party of 10 had lots of room to spread out. The wrap around deck is perfect for evening cocktails and dinners. It is obvious that the owners spend a lot of time here as the house was the best stocked AirBNB we have ever stayed at. It is very close to a good grocery store and an easy drive to beautiful beaches. A very enjoyable stay!
Beautiful roomy house on a stunning property! Ann was so wonderfully friendly, prompt to respond to any of my questions and communications. Thoughtful touches throughout the house and a lovely fireplace! We were very impressed by how big the house felt even with five of us there. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and bedding. We had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. We loved the sheeps outside and the adorable dog Maura and her cat friend who were so cute and always came by to say hello to us. I highly recommend this home!
The sheet rock upstairs was not textured and the floors were unfinished, but the balance of the house along with the location made up for that. The views are awesome with sheep and cattle on the ranch as well as “Mara” the friendly sheepdog. We were there to fish for Atlantic Salmon and the proximity to most of the pools were anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes away. Our group would highly recommend this house. Jim, Mike, Sam & Dave

Margaree Forks is on the world famous Cabot Trail! It is a tiny village that boasts amazing views and breath taking scenery. There is a small grocery store less than one kilometre from the house, so no need to worry about running out of something you need! The Dancing Goat Bakery and Café is a short drive away. It is THE PLACE to eat breakfast and/or lunch or pick up a treat or a delicious coffee to bring home!
There is no public transportation in this area. You will certainly need your own vehicle...or bicycle!

I am an elementary school teacher, married, mother of three teenagers. I am bilingual, French and English. I absolutely love Cape Breton and love spending as much time there as possible. It is my paradise! I love swimming, reading and hiking!
