Staying at Ridge on the Chimney was absolutely phenomenal. The location is just stunning - unimaginable even before arrival. We had the pleasure to see gorgeous sun rises and sun sets. We also got to see a lot of wildlife - it felt like National Geographic. The architecture of the cottages is beautiful and the owners have put a lot of thought into not only the appearance but also the features and amenities. Our favorite part of our stay, beside the view, was the wood fired hot tub. Ridge on the Chimney kindly heated it for us before arrival - we made use of it everyday during our stay it was that amazing. We would certainly love to come back and have the fondest memories of our stay - highly recommend!

Scott’s place was awesome- walks on the beach, relaxing in the hot tub, and dinners with a view of the ocean. We would definitely visit again.

We had a beautiful 4 night winter stay in the Spruce cabin. We brought our skidoos to add to the Cape Breton highlands winter adventure. The host is great at communicating & sent recommendations of where to connect to the snowmobile trails closest to us at the cabin. We started our sledding adventure on Old belle Côte rd. A short 10(ish) minutes up the road. The view at the cabin is stunning, they have all the amenities to make you feel at home. They have everything covered upon your stay. (Except a cheese grater, lol) Sleek lines throughout the cabin gives a clean minimalist look while the lightening gives it the warmth to make it feel cozy. Heated floors & wood stove was so great to dry out our gear and warm our toes. Not to mention the hot tub for a good soak while watching the snow fall. The hike down to the beach was something to remember, it’s beautiful. I highly recommend a stay at Ridge on the Chimney.

Amazing location. Probably one of the nicest and most private beaches in Nova Scotia and there created a spot with beautiful view and walking access to this other wise hard to access beach. Amazing job with landscaping, I grew up and spend summers in the area and can’t believe what they managed to create. You won’t be disappointed.
