Paul’s home was so cozy and welcoming. They left delicious treats for us when we arrived. The house was well maintained, beautifully renovated and had all the amenities we needed. The stand out quality of this home is definitely the view. It was so spectacular. We sat outside in the evenings to watch sunsets on the extremely comfortable furniture provided. There was an issue with some of the bedding. Paul and Jennifer were quick to respond and help us out with new bedding. Just a note that this is an older, waterfront, country cottage and we were travelling in October. We had a mouse sighting just one time and the hosts were quick to bring traps and make sure we were comfortable. The team went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time and we would stay again.

Paul’s cottage was everything we were looking for. The space itself was beautiful, homey, and well-equipped with everything we needed, and the view was breathtaking. Lots to do and see near by. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again in the future!

Paul’s place was a perfect Cape Breton house. The location, views and house style were all excellent. The living area, kitchen and master bedroom suite were outstanding. And we so enjoyed sitting on the chairs on the verandah looking at the stunning views. Paul and Jen who looked after it locally were very helpful and generous also. We would stay there again if we could.

Paul was an excellent host. Very responsive and fast to communicate with. His property is a beautiful house on the ocean side with a cabin like feel. Check in was easy and he offered and early check in. We were greeted by a beautiful basket with snacks and wine. The house is extremely well stocked and he had literally thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms with towels, shampoo soaps etc. fully functional washing machine. A secret stash of things you might need on hikes. He had thought of everything for example I went on a 22 km hike and developed some blisters. Everything was closed by Paul had a stock of bandaids and first aid. The deck is beautiful and do use the binoculars by the window for some sight seeing. Very private and right on the Cabot trail. Will definitely visit there again. 5 stars.
