I only wish I could bottle up the setting to take home with me. If you want beach and private this is your place.
What a great place to stay! The view is spectacular and the property is amazing. We were there for a National committee meeting where the majority of the guests were from out West and it was a great place for them to experience the East coast. The access to the beach made this trip even better, it's about a 10-minute walk down a well-maintained trail. There is limited cell service and the wifi isn't stable so I would suggest downloading whatever you can, don't schedule any zoom meetings, and putting an email autoresponder on. Great spot for a vacation to get away from everything!! Kermit was very quick at responding to any questions I had and made sure to give me any updates about the property. The screens in the windows were not in, (Kermit let me know ahead of time), but the windows open in multiple directions so we were able to open them tilted forward so we could get airflow without letting any bugs in. Bug spray and sunscreen are a must as you will want to spend all your time outside enjoying the beach and the large deck!
We were the first tenants of the year: This was to our detriment. The road to the beach was not safe—overgrown and with fallen trees. You simply could NOT access the private beach by car or foot—which really is the reason this property is so pricey. Deck furniture was still stored and screens were not installed in any of the numerous windows. Quite a lot of bugs on floor at arrival and key was in different spot than advertised and with no service at the house—we could not get in for some time. Ultimately, the place is quite large and can accommodate lots of people with a nice view from the deck, BUT without beach access it is simply a big home and NOT worth the price.
Incredible place to stay! Kermit was an excellent host. Beautiful views, perfect for relaxing and getting away for it all. Close to Inverness for shopping but very quiet and private. Tons of room for whole family, cozy, clean and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend!
The house is very clean and spacious. We had great communication with Kermit as well as very quick responses from him.

I’m the father four amazing children and married to their more than incredible mother for more than 40+ years. We’ve worked together for 40 years manufacturing handmade jewelry. We both enjoy traveling and working on our homes. Favorite trips have been Lhasa Tibet, Himachal Pradesh in the Northern Himalayas, and extensive travel in China, Thailand, Bali, Tahiti and many European countries. We love to summer in Cape Breton and winter in Florida or St Lucia. Food is the center of our universe and travel affords us that opportunity!
