We’ve been spending February on the North Shore for the last 7 years. This was the best spot we’ve found yet with lots of space, comfortable beds and living area, fully stocked kitchen and walkable to all the surf breaks. Hoping to book again next year!

Amazing location, walking distance to the best surf breaks in the world. Classy surf bungalow with all the amenities. Lots of local flora and fauna on the property. On a good day, with minimal traffic, you can reach any part of the island in an hour. A really amazing stay.

Our stay at the Andersons' was a last-minute blessing, and we're immensely thankful for their hospitality. The property had a lovely, homely atmosphere. The chickens and roosters added a unique charm, even though one of our group members found their morning calls a bit bothersome, the rest enjoyed it. Minor upkeep issues were present, as mentioned in other reviews; but it felt like staying at a beloved relative's house. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and thoughtful touches like beach towels and hand soaps, our essentials were well-covered. Others on property were respectful and hopefully found us to be as well. Parking accessible and available. Wi-Fi available on site was helpful and appreciated! Ted's Bakery, a short walk away, serves fantastic breakfast and lunch items – don't miss their pie! Sunset Beach, also within walking distance, was a highlight of our trip. If you're seeking a cozy, local experience, this is it. Thanks again to the Andersons for making our stay memorable!

The space and beds were great! We appreciated the boogie boards and sand toys, and the aloe lotion because we got some sunburns. I wouldn't recommend this to travelers from cooler climates in August because even with the fans we were uncomfortably hot.
