The Vintages Trailer Resort is centrally located in the heart of the Willamette Valley halfway between Dundee and Historic Downtown McMinnville. The trailers are grouped together in their own neighborhood within the 14-acre Willamette Wine Country RV Park.
Each trailer offers a unique lodging experience tailored to compliment your wine tasting, dining and exploration. A short list of amenities includes gourmet pour-over coffee from Caravan Coffee, luxurious terrycloth robes, comfortable mattresses and fine hotel-quality linens. Should you decide to put your culinary skills to good use, your trailer features a propane grill and all the tableware and utensils you could possible desire (including a wine opener, of course!)
The park offers a breathtaking view of the neighboring vineyards, a pool & hot tub and outdoor lawn games for all to enjoy. Additionally, should you bring your pet along for the ride, we’re right next door to a dog park where your four legged friend can run around while you pick wild blackberries. We have cruiser bikes you can pedal over the bridge to the neighboring town of Dayton, a gateway to many of the local vineyards.
The Willamette Valley has become one of the nation’s top wine producing regions due to the mild, coastal climate and nutrient-rich soil. With more than 300 wineries in the area, the region has established itself as one of the most premier locations for producing Pinot Noir. The first grapes were planted in the mid-1960s by Eyrie Vineyard. As time progressed, more and more wine-makers settled in valley. The success of the Oregon Wine Country has generated a new wave of tourism to the area. Everyone wants to find out what the buzz is all about.
Huffington Post named The Willamette Valley the number 5 top wine destination in the world in November 2013. More recently, the Seattle Times celebrated the valley’s 30th birthday and stated, “The bright, high-toned wines of the Dundee Hills and the earthy, truffly pinots in nearby Yamhill-Carlton remind us that the Willamette Valley is far from the wine-producing mono-culture it might otherwise appear to be from the outside. Rather, every little ridge overlooking the Willamette River offers intriguing nuances in the glass that are like a sensual whisper in a lover’s ear.”
Not only is The Vintages Trailer Resort smack dab in the middle of wine country, you’ll also find the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum 7 minutes up the highway. There, within one of the most beautiful glass hangars in the world, you’ll find the Spruce Goose, one of man’s greatest attempts to conquer the skies. Next door to the museum is the Wings and Waves Waterpark where you can slide out of a real Boeing 747 aircraft sitting on the roof, and enjoy a day of educational fun!
