We loved our stay. The natural surroundings are beautiful and restorative, and the apartment is cozy and comfortable. Nancy and Joe's warm welcome and delicious homemade muffins made us feel right at home. Our stay was short, so we hope to be able to return someday.

Nancy & Joe were exceptional hosts. This has been our greatest AirBnB experience yet. The apartment was sparkling clean and has every amenity we could want. The property is truly magical. If you are a nature lover, this place is for you. There are countless plants and a few beautiful live oaks on their grounds; not to mention their private dock where you can bird watch and see dolphins! We were 20~ min from Charleston and mere minutes from great restaurants. Do not hesitate to book with this gracious couple. Thank you, Nancy & Joe, for a memorable mom-and-daughter trip.

I have been back two days and already recommended this spot to a few friends if they ever take a trip to Charleston. My partner and I are both birders and nature-lovers, and the dock out into the tidal creek is an amazing spot to take in many, many species of wetland birds. The area around the house, meanwhile, is ringed by beautiful, massive live oaks. Nancy and Joe were eager to talk to us about the wildlife and plant life in and around their property, and they provided us with all the recommendations we needed to have a great trip. They were kind, responsive, and seemed to really enjoy having guests. The apartment, meanwhile, was cozy, clean, and well-stocked--including with home-made muffins! We hope to return one day!

We had such a lovely stay! Nancy and Joe greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel right at home. The apartment was great; clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Delicious blueberry banana nut muffins were gifted and much appreciated first thing in the morning! My husband and I took advantage of the looooong dock through the the tidal marsh to the river's edge. Peace and quiet. Although we were off the beaten path, we were so close to everything that John's Island, Charleston, and Kiowa had to offer! The grounds and gardens at Nancy and Joe's are simply beautiful! The duo's love of the land results in a special experience for all who visit. Thank you! We look forward to our next visit!!
