We can’t say enough about our stay on the Aqua Jumbo houseboat. Welcoming, peaceful - exactly as promised, despite airline delays meaning we were four hours late arriving with them! The crew were wonderful, knowing when to give us info about our surroundings and when to sit back and let us take it all in. The food was amazing, complete with snacks and juices throughout the day, and lunch waiting for us on arrival with enough to feed many more than us two. They even assisted getting lost luggage delivered to the boat from the airport to avoid us losing any relaxation time! This was a much needed rest and it delivered as promised. We would love to return to this little piece of paradise.

pothen is a wonderful host and communicates well. his boat was neat and clean. though it was a bit old. the captain and chef were fantastic and they did a wonderful job in handling our needs. overall we had a good experience. a few pointers for my fellow travellers. speak to them in advance if you prefer your meals in a certain way. the cook is good and Accomodating. be there on time so that you don't mess with their itenary. keep repellent handy. carry some snacks if you enjoy snacking while taking in the picturesque scene.. click loads of pictures. fo those who are avid fishermen. carry your own fishing rods. ☺

Mesmerised by hospitality, food, the houseboat, everything. I was a lil nervous at first when I made the booking, but u can trust Pothen blindly with ur booking. He is a great host, his staff Rajeev, babu and captain Anthony what a team and amazing hospitality with great food. Loved every bit of it. Not only that since we r back from this vacation we just cannot wait to go for this trip again. I also got the opportunity to meet Pothen’s huge and beautiful elephants named sadhu, keshav and Arjun. Keshav is known to be the biggest n heaviest elephant in Kerala. At the end, we had a great time. Loved it to the core.
