Great choice for a couple who wants the houseboat experience in Allapuzha. We really enjoyed our stay!

Had a lovely 2 days on the houseboat...was traveling solo and got a lot of reading in while enjoying the calm and the beautiful scenery. The food was amazing! Note that you're literally on the boat most of the time, except for in the evenings, so be prepared to entertain yourself (and the boat is shut down/sealed in the evenings). Definitely take the opportunity to explore the villages where the boat stops!

What an incredible experience has been my cruise around the Alleppey backwaters. Jose's boat is just marvelous. It has a nice bedroom, a kitchen with a cook and nice resting area in front where you can enjoy the wonderful sightseeing. Since the dimensions of boat allows it, you are able to see all the small canals that you cannot reach with a big boat, and have a glimpse to the countryside directly facing the canal's waters. Passing the night in the quiet of the lake, with the sun setting over the waters, is the icing on the cake. So much recommended. Don't miss the opportunity for a cruise with Jose.

Moment inoubliable sur le bateau de José. Son bateau est d’une taille idéale permettant de naviguer un peu partout dans les backwaters. La chambre est vraiment charmante et l’excellent cuisinier nous a régalé José est toujours disponible et à l’écoute Soirée inoubliable pour nous. Encore Merci

Having an overnight trip on the houseboat is a unique experience. You can really get the feeling of the life in the backwaters and enjoy the smooth ride. The boat crew is extremely friendly and the cook is providing really delicious fresh food. If you wish, he can prepare for you any fish or sea food you can buy at the fish market on the way. The boat is well equipped so that you feel like home. We did the trip with our 2 years old and all of us enjoyed it a lot. We also really liked the village where we stopped for the night. We were able to swim in the lake and have a nice walk in the village. We highly recommend that boat trip!
