This is our second stay and we’re so glad we had the opportunity to come back a second time. The home is clean, safe and convenient for border crossing . Breakfast was delicious and greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
Karen’s place is very nice and homey. We enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was great.
Great location for a stop on the way to Canada and nice backyard if you have a dog. Although, the bed definitely needs to be upgraded. Place was clean which I appreciated. Worth noting that rooms share a communal bathroom in the hallway.
This is a great place to stay for US business folks like me who need rest before crossing the border. I arrived late and was pleased to see the convenience store open nearby. My second floor room was clean as a pin, and I will stay again when travels take me through the area.
You will love the river walk and the location convenient to the Canadian border.

I am a single woman living between Maine, Connecticut, and Fiorida.. I run a seasonal bed and breakfast in my riverfront home in Calais, Maine. I enjoy travel and meeting people from all parts of the world and hosting a bed and breakfast has been a wonderful way to accomplish just that.
