I rented this location for my parents as a Christmas gift and visited during Winterfest (President’s Wknd). They are 70, and while they talk about traveling often, realistically they do not. I wanted to introduce them to the world of Air B n B, and this was the absolute best way to do it. Joan and her husband Victor are the proprietors of the location. The cafe below has DELICIOUS food. Joan even said we could order room service! Adjacent to the cafe (still in the same building) is Victor’s AMAZING art museum PLUS a room with beautiful ambiance; it hosted live jazz Saturday night. The site is so inclusive! We feel we absolutely got our money’s worth by staying here and I can’t wait to return with friends! Overall the place was clean, comfortable, unique, accessible, walking distance to town…I could go on! It was also so nice that our two dogs were welcomed. We appreciated the hospitality and kindness of Joan and Victor. Thank you!

Myself and two friends had a great stay. It is a beautiful space and actually bigger and more open than it appears in the photos. Despite sitting above the museum and cafe, the loft is very quiet and private. There’s a nice trail on the ridge behind the loft and all the stores and restaurants are not too far down the road. Joan was very nice and we had a great dinner at the cafe. I would definitely come again in the future.

Just as beautiful as shown in the photos! Stylish and cozy, easy walking distance, wonderful space. And off-street parking and the galleries were a bonus! We cannot wait to get back again someday.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was EXTREMELY helpful, flexible and responsive. At one point we got caught in a snowstorm and the host let our dog out for us. The place itself is really cool with an open floor plan and lots of character. The cafe and museum below are also really worth a trip.

We had an amazing weekend- the loft was absolutely beautiful, very clean and everything we needed for our stay in Jim Thorpe. Joan greeted us upon arrival with keys and even offered to help us carry our bags in to the loft. The kitchen was well stocked, and we made use of it to cook a simple dinner. The bathroom was clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. Our sons loved sleeping upstairs and choosing which bed worked for them. It was easy to walk into town for shopping and donuts, yum! It is an uphill walk back though. Joan told us about a close out-and-back hike that was the perfect way to start our days. We would love to come back again!
