Highly recommend. Clean and Comfortable. Nice, responsive host. Two siblings & friend stayed 4 nights. Would return. Location was great. Friend went on long morning walks, returned w nice comments about area. Cottage had everything, & washer dryer. Kitchen nicely outfitted with fridge /freezer with ice maker. Also dishwasher. It's bigger than pictures make it seem. Full dining room table was nice. Living room very comfortable and nice selection of magazines about Virginia. Roku Tv. Back porch was lovely. Two nice parking spots at rear of house in nice alleyway. Have to walk across the back yard to access house, flat but not completely level. Right on Main Street so there was a little traffic noise but hardly at all after 8 or 9 pm, so not bothersome. Only issue was back steps. Just a few rocks & half concrete blocks. Very wobbly and not stable. No handrail, no hand grip. Back screen door could benefit from a closure with a mechanism to keep it open for carrying items in and out.

Centrally located and walking distance to many places of interest to me - especially the SweetBay brewery. Charming cottage!

Very quaint, homey house in great location. Close to all shops & stores. Walkable to the Creeper Trail. Just a perfect location for our stay.

Great place within walking distance of downtown and with a few restaurants in the immediate area. Close to the Virginia creeper trail and served as a great home base for the yeti 100.
