Such a wonderful and memorable stay at a beautiful house with the most spectacular views - just breathtaking. Gardens are truly beautiful, the room spotless, and the family incredibly friendly, warm and hospitable. The perfect hosts! We were treated to a delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning. Will miss Thorn - it’s a really magical place, and hope to return. Thank you all!

A great stay in a great house. a lovely large room, with a stunning bath. In a beautiful & quiet area of Wembury. Eva & her family were marvelous, and couldn't do enough for us. will try and stay again next time we are in Wembury.

Eva and John and lovely hosts. Eva provides a lot of information and is responsive before and during the stay. The house is lovely and is in a beautiful, remote location. Hiring a car is essentially a must due to remote nature of the home, but Eva communicated all that, and any other essential information to me before my stay. John is also very sweet and accommodating during the entire stay. Thank you both for the lovely stay!

A completely magical two days, with such fantastic hosts, the house and garden so lovely, in its amazingly tranquil setting and sense of history, everywhere. We stayed at Thorn house for 2 nights and found it to be a hidden sanctuary from the hustle of much of Britain's developed coastlin. Eva and John are a lovely couple and such helpful hosts. The peace and quiet you get at Thorn House is rivalled only by the serene views down over the river Yealm and the beautiful gardens. What a wonderful place this is.
