This house looked great from the photos and description, and it was even better in person. Lovely location, right on the water. We spent most of our time on one of the decks and did some kayaking and swimming on the very quiet lake. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house felt more like a home than a rental. We would definitely rent this place again. The owners were friendly and helpful.

What an incredible gem right on Sebasticook Lake!!! The view of the lake was breathtaking. The victorian cottage stays true to the vintage feel but has all the modern amenities and comforts of home away from home! We took complete advantage of the lake and all the house offered along with it...kayaks, peddle boat, swimming floats, dock Adirondack chairs, binocs to check out all the loons, eagles & osprey. Ken & Victoria, were super friendly and kind enough to lend us their lillypad mat to jump off the dock..so fun! The lake is super quiet and not much boat traffic, so it made kayaking and fishing so fun and peaceful. We caught fish right off the dock! We also decided to cook in every night, since it had everything we needed and honestly, you can't beat the view off the top deck for dinner! Everything is so close by for groceries and farm stands that it was super convenient, but you really felt like you were so removed as you drove down the road to the lake! We can't wait to come back!

The house was sweet, on a quiet road, and right on the lake. We loved listening to the loons and paddling around the shore line. Our teenagers enjoyed having the daylight basement as a hangout and sleeping quarters to themselves, and the common spaces on the main floor were cozy for family dinners, board games, and movies. We had a relaxing time and very much enjoyed our stay!

The lake is really terrific and the dock is a delight. The house is cozy and agreeable, and convenient to town and groceries. We would happily return!
