I am so pleased that I chose the Captain's Lookout, it was just perfect. It is really nicely furished with a comfy bed and cosy mezzanine level. The kitchen had everything you needed without being cluttered. The location is idealic with the canal passing along side and Brecon just a short drive away. I have already recommend it to friends and would definitely stay again.

Just had a brilliant stay at Rachel’s cosy accommodation. So relaxing, lovely to look on to the canal and barges. We walked 20 minutes to the Royal Oak pub for tea, then a moonlit walk back next to the canal. I went for two swims in the bracing River Usk with clear instructions to the dipping spot from Rachel, thank you 🙏🏼 My husband loved the fly fishing in the area, he had (and I quote) ‘the best days fishing of my life’ high praise!! We would love to stay again.

Fantastic spot with some amazing walks nearby, perfectly positioned to access some of the best peaks in the Brecon Beacons. The flat was clean and well stocked with cooking utensils, packed full of charm and character. A very good stay all round.
