Artists, writers, hair stylists, programmers, and scientists - locals and travelers from across the US and overseas - all love our place. The guest house is private and cozy, with parking, a terrific shower with sea creature art tiles, a refrigerator and freezer, an induction cooktop, kettle. We have high-speed wi-fi that makes it throughout the guest house and outside thanks to a new signal extender! Bring what you need, including essentials, toiletries, kitchen items, bedding, pillows, etc. Our favorite parks to go hiking in Topanga Canyon are Red Rock Park, Topanga Canyon Park, and Tuna Canyon Park. Nearby are El Matador Beach, Leo Carrillo Beach, Malibu Beach, Point Dume Beach, Topanga Beach, Paradise Cove, Santa Monica Beach, Ocean Park, and Venice Beach. Culturally in Topanga there's Corazon for live music, and the Will Greer Theatre Botanicum, as well as a series of festivals! Wonderful excursions include Catalina Island, Santa Cruz Island, Griffith Park, the Watts Towers, Grand Central Market, and the Arts District. For shopping, in Topanga there's Hidden Treasures, Topanga Art Tile, and a series of shops in the town center. There's a lot more in Santa Monica, Malibu, Beverly Hills, and the rest of LA. A lovely cafe nearby is Cafe Mimosa - their pistachio croissants are remarkable! We also like Topanga Living Cafe and Topanga Table. Restaurants include Cholada's , Tallula's, the Canyon Bistro, the Reel Inn, the Inn at the Seventh Ray, Malibu Farm Pier Cafe, Nobu's, and Gjelina. There's wine tasting nearby at the Rosenthal Wine Bar and Patio. Grocery stores nearby include Von's and Gelsons, the Topanga Canyon General Store, and the Canyon Gourmet. Further away is Whole Foods, Ralph's, Trader Joes, and Costco.
