Great location, average stay. My husband and I somehow missed the part of the description where you have to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper….. for the price we really had wished that was provided…. Community fire pit was cute. Beds are average.

The Starling was a cute little cottage but room for everything. Location was terrific for Fish Creek, everything was within walking distance...the Ice Cream was a little TOO close! Parking was good. Cottage was nice and clean and had everything we needed. Close to great eating and shopping. Check in was easy.

Carole was very nice with accommodating our construction crew. We appreciated the opportunity to stay at one of her cabins.

The place was as described on the review. Unfortunately for us and despite being serviced earlier in the year, the furnace acted up on a somewhat cold night. We arrived at 9:30pm and the hosts were great at attempting to remedy the problem first by trying the furnace themselves and then with space heaters to get us through until someone else could look at the furnace. Sadly the space heaters blew a fuse in the middle of the night and we woke up quite cold the next morning. Carole and crew were easy to contact, we're very apologetic, and fairly remedied the situation. I would definitely give them a second try.
