A lovely spot with beautiful people and lively kids. This is an immersive experience, where the village takes care of the guest. Don't go if you're wanting a pristine resort. Do go if you want a cultural experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, because that's what we wanted.

We loved staying at Navotua village! The location is amazing, accommodation is comfortable and the people are so friendly. They provide more than enough food and activities to make the stay extremely enjoyable and relaxing. We thank the village for letting us into their community and would 100% recommend this experience to our friends and family.

It was a great experience to live in a village. The bure was beautiful and right in front of the beach. Every meal was prepared by a different family, but it would have been nicer to eat with them together. It takes some getting used to, being watched while eating. My son and I are gluten free, which wasn't a problem at all. We really enjoyed staying here!

My brother and I had such a wonderful time staying here. They accommodated us with very short notice and we’re so glad we chose to stay here for two nights. The food was caught, picked, and cooked fresh and each meal was better than the next. We both agreed that our meals here were better than every other hotel and restaurant we ate at while on Fiji. Both the family and the village were so welcoming to us and it really was a memorable experience for us. You definitely won’t be disappointed to stay here!

If you want to really immerse yourself into Fijian culture, stay with the people of Navotua Village on Nacula Island! They have little but are the happiness, kindest, most thoughtful, and generous people my family and I have ever met. The meals they cooked for us were delicious and so diverse. Pleasant surprises every meal and such generous portions! We felt bad that our meals were so generously portioned when they have so little but we saw that it truly makes them happy to give and give and give. The accommodation is not resort style so you should know this before arriving so you fully embrace what they have to offer. There is a shared toilet and shared shower outside of your bure. Your bure only has beds and yes, there are harmless bugs because you are outside on an island. So if you come here, think very basic living, meet amazing people, unique opportunity to learn about the Fijian village lifestyle. Have the right mindset coming into it and you won't want to leave! If you are thinking "resort", ac, no bugs, electricity, running water, hot showers, look elsewhere. Bures are all beachside so you fall asleep listening to the waves and the sunrise is spectacular. Amazing location. The host is not on site.
