This place is amazing. We stayed for two nights and could’ve stayed for a week! The one thing I was nervous about was the temperature at night (October in Maine) but even when the temperature dropped, we were perfectly warm and comfortable inside the cottage. The surroundings are beautiful. When you’re at the cottage you feel like you’re on a private oasis with no other houses or people around but you are still so close to all the stores and shops once you get to the end of the driveway. We arrived in the midst of a large storm and the host was responsive and even cut down a tree that fell down into the driveway within the hour! We loved it here. If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it! You will not regret it.

Loved staying at this cute little cabin! Definitely rustic, but that’s what I expected going in. The outdoor shower was nice to have and being so close to the water was cool - you can see the tide go in and out. The lanterns inside the cabin were super nice to have too. I’d still recommend bringing a headlamp. It’s relatively close to Acadia (50min) and also really close to Acadia on the Schoodic side, which I highly recommend checking out. Also, check out Me and Ben’s Dairy Creme for some awesome soft serve (the blueberry is really good!)

Wonderful spot! If you need a place to wind down for a weekend this would be it. The cabin is so cozy and the views of the water are incredible!

Waking up on the water was serene. The bed was really comfy, plenty of blankets to keep warm. We would recommend bringing a small propane stove for quick heating of water and such, otherwise you’ll have to build a fire or start the charcoal grill. Very private, took long walks on shoreline at low tide. Bring shoes you don’t mind getting a little muddy! The apple tree by the sea was a delicious bonus. We would definitely return!
