Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison de Dimitra très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est idéale sans aucun vis à vis et cette région de Céphalonie très belle. Dimitra est très accueillante et disponible. Nous recommandons sincèrement.

The house is really nice and modern with excellent views of the valley. A lot of care has been given to make sure of a comfortable and relaxing stay. The wifi is decent for browsing and streaming, but I found that 4G is much better for video calls that need faster upload speed (4G down/up was 80/10Mbps). The location is ideal for those looking to escape from busy/larger towns to the peaceful countryside, but still within close drive to attractions (excellent beaches and big port towns within 15min drive). The surrounding area (within 5 minutes) has a variety of restaurants that we believe are some of the best we visited in Kefalonia. I noted a previous guest complained that the pool doesn't have privacy from a neighbouring house. We didn't feel that neighbouring homes were overlooking the pool area or that there wasn't privacy. The area is very quiet and we didn't see the neighbours much really, except when you walk down the driveway. Also, the hedges has grown since that review, making it almost impossible for neighbours to look in onto the pool area.

Kingside villa in a quiet village, was the perfect place for us to relax with the private pool during this pandemic time. Kingside villa is a well designed home with natural stone, natural wood and metal decorations. The pool and the whole house is designed like a 5 star hotel with attention to detail, yet keeping in the local and natural feel. With beautiful views of the Agia Effimia, the strait and the valley below. Within 5 minutes drive we were lucky to see deers and peacocks. The best beach Mrytos was within a 10 minutes drive. Dimitra is a very friendly and welcoming lady. Happy to help us anytime and her husband is a wonderful baker. I highly recommend Kingside villa and would happily go there again.

The house is really nicely decorated. It’s cool, modern and spacious. The beds were comfortable and there was A/C in the bedrooms so good night sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms came with toiletries, towels, dressing gowns and slippers. The host met us at the property and gave us a bottle of wine and cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was a nice touch! Geographically the house is less than ten minutes from the nearest town and easily accessible to Sami, Myrtos beach, Antisamos beach, Assos and Fiskardo. Really convenient to use as a base. One thing that may not bother everyone, but we found it quite disappointing, is the outside of the property. There is a pool and deck area with sun loungers and dining table. Honestly I can’t fault the facilities but it wasn’t private at all despite being up on a hill. The house is on the Main Street that runs through a small village and looks down on several houses. On the few times we did sit outside we were looked in on by neighbours and passers by which made me feel uncomfortable wandering about in a bikini! I think the house is really nice and has been well finished but for the amount of money we spent on the accommodation for 5 days, it’s a shame we didn’t feel comfortable making the most out of the house. As I say, this may not bother everyone, but on our anniversary we would have preferred more privacy rather than being watched by the locals whilst sunbathing!

Very nicely decorated villa. Everything is brand new and house is very clean. Location is close to some nice beaches and local reataurants. A quite place to sleep in the morning also. I would like to thanks Dimitra for her hospitality.
