I stayed here with my 2 colleagues for 4 nights in March as we were exhibiting at the NEC. The house looks just like photos and it's super easy to get to the airport or NEC from the house. You might accidentally drive past it the first time you get there, so keep your eyes peeled as you get close. Gavin also left some drinks and snacks in the fridge for us which was a nice touch. If you are looking to exhibit or visit the NEC for whatever reason, you could do a lot worse than staying here. It's a damn sight cheaper than hotels at peak times and having the freedom to stay in or go out is great. Thanks Gavin!
Gavin was very responsive and proactive in fixing minor issue with hob even going so far to offer food delivery as solution for one night. The property is a commercial rent and as such ideal for NEC and group bedroom options. However , as photographed well it set expectations that we felt were above the feel and standards experienced . Just be aware parking is limited. That said beds super comfy and team enjoyed their stay.
Gavin is the best host I’ve had in years. He’s very relaxed and easygoing. The house is gorgeous; he’s super responsive and generous. Recently, I’ve found hosts to make heavy demands and expect the place to be spotless even though you pay £100 + for cleaning. Gavin made no demands (we, of course, left it clean, but stripping beds and deep cleaning, etc, shouldn’t be forced upon guests) he couldn’t do more to help. I’ll be staying again next time I’m in Birmingham. 10/10!
We stayed while exhibiting at the NEC and it was a perfect place. A lovely house, and extremely convenient. I'd highly recommend.
It's a great location and lovely quite property - considering so close to the road you don't feel it at all. Fixtures and fitting were just a little cheap and just little maintenance jobs needed doing. Missing lightbulbs etc. Lovely new carpets and great facilities. Main bathroom used by 4 bedrooms and could have done with a bit of TLC. En suite is perfect but not everyone gets to use that one! I'm just being picky as it was expensive so you sort of expect more high end. Thanks to Gavin, it was a lovely stay.

I live between Fulham, London and a little peaceful village called Hampton in Arden in the UK. I have lived in Barbados, Madrid and South Africa.
