Somehow after living in Los Angeles for almost 10 years, we ended up in a little village called Leipers Fork and we never looked back! We toured as a band, Jason & deMarco, for over a decade and along the way we've made some smart investments. Purchasing a mini-farm, which we’ve called GratiDude Ranch, was definitely an unexpected chapter of our journey! We still sometimes wonder how we ended up on a farm in Franklin. GratiDude Ranch bridges rustic charm and modern style. It’s a timeless place and once you enter, get ready for a magical experience. Founded in 2014 and now nestled on 25 acres of gorgeous hillside in the Fernvale area of Leipers Fork outside of Franklin, TN., GratiDude Ranch offers accommodations for up to 40 overnight guests, including a community barn area, a petting zoo with 20+ farm pets, creek frontage, a stocked pond and walking trails all minutes from Leipers Fork. We love it and we just can't keep good things to ourselves, so we decided to rent out our unique Homestead, including the main Ranch House, a Carriage House & Loft and a storybook Cottage on the property. You can rent the spaces individually or the entire Homestead can be rented for larger groups or events sleeping up to 16 guests. In 2019 we purchased an adjoining 15 acres to our ranch and opened Lyric Lodge & Inn at GratiDude Ranch along with the Lyric Guesthouse. Purchasing this property has been a dream of ours and it allowed us to expand our services in so many ways. The entire lodge & inn can be rented and can sleep up to 16 guests. There is a creekside guesthouse that can be rented separately as well and sleep four to five additional guests (for larger parties, we recommend booking the guesthouse as this gives you privacy on the property). We welcome small groups, religious/spiritual groups, families and individuals. deMarco is the Property and Event Manager for the ranch. He is also an amazing chef. We host monthly farm-to-table dinners throughout the season and if his schedule permits he is happy to offer a private farm to table dinner for our Airbnb guests upon request. (YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT IF HE IS AVAILABLE!). We also host Murder Mystery dinners throughout the season. We book pretty far in advance, however, sometimes folks cancel last minute so if you are staying over a weekend of a farm to table dinner and are interested in attending please let us know ASAP. If one of our events isn't happening during your stay, or deMarco isn't available, we always recommend great restaurants nearby. In 2022 we announced the opening of a second GratiDude Ranch location in Nevada City CA, nestled on 5 acres surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines and Redwoods. This property focuses on agritourism, where there is a learning component to our operation, particularly with our Plant Powered brand. Accommodations for 16+ guests are available between the Lazy Dog Farmhouse and Lazy Dog Barn Loft. The property also includes an outdoor bar, gazebo, koi pond, outdoor fireplace, and multiple scenic seating areas for guests to enjoy the beauty and magic of the property, all minutes from the artsy and eclectic downtown Nevada City.
