HSP was a perfect vacation spot for spring break. The house is charming & stocked with everything needed. The private, expansive yard is surrounded by breathtaking views of the water and mature trees. A great location for relaxing and bird watching. We spent hours with family around the cozy indoor fireplace watching a few storms roll in across the river. Firewood was restocked aT our request, as we enjoyed having it on throughout the day. Our children and dog especially loved the 3+ acre lot. Our dog took a dip in the river, and we enjoyed the kayaks. The landscaping is beautiful, with flowers blooming everywhere. Barry and team truly thought of everything- the house was stocked with all of the staple items needed, fresh herbs were growing in the garden and they even ensured we had access to fresh oysters stocked at the pier. We realize fishing is limited during this time of the year, but spent hours casting from the pier. We were in awe, when we lit the enormous bonfire. Thank you!

Horseshoe Point lived up to its description and exceeded our expectations! Barry was friendly, helpful and responsive from booking to check out. The house is cozy and charming but the property is phenomenal! We enjoyed the custom built bonfire, the screened-in porch, bird watching, and the views from every angle. Our pup especially loved the room to run. The well-appointed kitchen served dinner for several small get-togethers. And we had plenty of room to spread out and socialize. What an amazing place!

We've been staying at Horseshoe Point during summer and winter championship swim meets the last 2 years and it is nothing short of magical. From the moment we step onto the property we are captivated by the stunning views of the river. This cozy home is surrounded by water. The large windows frame the landscape like a living painting. We love watching the ducks float by while sipping our morning coffee in the morning. But it isn’t just the views that make this place special. The bonfire pit by the water brings on memories of our family sitting around the fire and roasting marshmallows. In the summer, we were able to fish and kayak. The attention to detail in this Airbnb is impressive. The scrabble board displayed on the wall was populated with our names and words of encouragement. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything we need to cook a delicious meal. This is our the last swim meet. However we will definitely be back to relax and enjoy all Horseshoe point has to offer.

Barry was very responsive from the initial contact. Provided us with recommendations for "local places" to visit and or eat. We wanted the "local" circuit and not the tourist circuit. The property is just spectacular! Views of St Marys College and Historic Town - and within 15 miles of plenty to do. Sitting in a hot tub looking at river otters play in the river is just exactly what we needed to unwind. Having a bonfire at night on the river with string lights illuminating the grounds was peaceful! We will return ! Highly Recommend this for a stay!

Horseshoe Point is a true gem, blending the timeless charm of a classic home with the beauty of its natural surroundings. Barry's warm hospitality and Denise's welcoming presence made our stay comfortable and homely. The sunrise and sunset here are breathtaking, creating a perfect backdrop for a tranquil escape. Wildlife is abundant, adding a touch of wilderness to our experience. The house, clean and full of character, exudes an authentic, rustic feel. The still waters nearby and the hot tub were highlights of our stay, offering relaxation and peace. Although we didn’t get to use it this time, the massive bonfire is something we look forward to on our next visit. Thank you for a memorable retreat that felt like a home away from home.
