Lovely house in a gorgeous setting with so many wonderful amenities!! The view was priceless, the hosts were so helpful, the house recently and tastefully renovated (including new furniture and mattresses), and all of the little extras were so thoughtful--the kids loved the popcorn popper and the adults loved kitchen tools, including the Keurig! We will definitely recommend this spot to friends!

Our stay at Pine Needle Nest was outstanding. There are so many good things to say, so I will specifically point out a few of best things about staying here. The location is amazing, as it is nestled right along the Potomac River. You also get to enjoy the most gorgeous sunsets. The cottage is clean and decorated in a way that makes it feel cozy and warm. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine. Lastly, Dave and Jenny respond immediately to any request or questions you may have.

This is a beautiful house right on the water with excellent sunset views! All the rooms were clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we could need during our stay. You can observe wildlife (birds, butterflies, squirrels) right from the deck and there were bicycles and beach chairs which came in handy. We would recommend communication via Airbnb messaging because cell signal was not always reliable.
