This cottage is absolutely perfect. From the first steps you take walking through the front door you are greeted by the most beautiful view of the Potomac river out the large windows along the back of the house. The ambiance and decor accent the location perfectly and immediately makes you feel cozy and luxurious. Vic and Eric were the best hosts we could’ve asked for - they were quick to address any of our questions and had great recommendations for local spots to check out. They definitely made our stay even more enjoyable and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you guys so much! - Cam, Johanna, Casey, and Cody

My husband and I came with another couple simply seeking a weekend away. All we wanted was peace and relaxation and that's exactly what we got. The view of the Potomac River from the main living area of this little house is so tranquil. The house itself is impeccably decorated and the hosts left us a warm welcome note with a bottle of wine which was an unexpected treat. Prior to our arrival they had sent recommendations for where to go in the area and they're recommendation for dinner at Sweetbay Restaurant was spot on. That local eatery is a true gem. We loved that the house was stocked with travel magazines and games for us to play in the evenings. This was everything we were looking for and more. We hope this will be the first of many visits!

What a gem! We have stayed at countless Airbnb properties over the years, but this is certainly one of the very best, and we can’t wait to return. Our arrival at the cottage coincided with an unseasonably cold and rainy day, and yet when we walked in the door, we immediately felt at home. With the expansive water views and the warm fireplace, it was an incredibly cozy and inviting space in which to spend the afternoon. We loved watching the ospreys catch their dinner, and the sight of the full moon reflecting on the water at night was spectacular. A few highlights of our visit included drinks at Social on Fenwick, dinner at Sweet Bay, lunch on a deck overlooking the boats in nearby Solomons, and hunting for fossils and shark teeth on the beach at Flag Ponds Nature Park. Our hosts were fantastic about checking in, but we didn’t need a thing, as they had so thoughtfully curated the space. This home is a true oasis, and time spent here is good for the soul.

Just go! Don’t think about it. Go! It’s fantastic. Beautiful. Incredible views. The place is fantastic and clean. Perfect. Well appointed. Everything was amazing. The firepit is awesome for evening hangs.
