Unable to review as we only spent a few hours in the property. When we arrived the property had a very strong smell, when this was highlighted with host and engineer was called it was an oil leak on the boiler. Host arranged alternative accommodation. Would not return.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful remote location. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but also close enough to Keswick and Cockermouth for things to be easily accessible. Christina was extremely helpful too! We will definitely look to stay again when we're back in the Lakes in the future. :-)

Christina’s place is wonderful; really cosy and tucked out of the way. That said, it doesn’t take long to get to cockermouth and Keswick, with their surrounding attractions. There are plenty of stunning walks in the local area too. For all abilities. Our Labrador was delighted! The cottage was absolutely immaculate. Everything was exceptionally clean, and all eventualities had been catered for. There was stacks of information on local attractions and walks, and Christina sent some ideas through too. Main Street fish and chip shop in Cockermouth is only 10 minutes away and we had a great meal at the Sun Inn at Bassenthwaite. Overall a great place to stay. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks Christina and Jeff for making us feel so welcome.

Christina was so lovely, helpful and responsive. Her home was so lovely and clean with some real homely touches. Christina provided some great recommendations for local walks too which was great. Thank you, your home was stunning
