Lovely house.very homely and Jacqueline was friendly and welcoming. We liked the area and cockermouth only ten mins drive away.

Had a wonderful stay at Jacqui's place. Me and my labrador felt right at home early on in our stay, she popped over to say hello and ensure we had everything we needed and double checked on our departure that everything had been okay too, a very lovely and gracious host. The house had everything we needed and more. The bed is super comfy, the sofa is too especially with the dog covers on my Labrador thoroughly enjoyed that perk. Kitchen well stocked with the basics and even the less obvious items such as scales etc which did come in handy when cooking! The only drawback some would see is it being on a busy national speed road which can be quite noisy, however this was not an issue for us and even walking next to it to take the dog a walk did not feel unsafe. Would love to visit again as this was the perfect location to visit the western lakes, Buttermere is a must if you stay here! Thank you again:)

Me and my family escaped to the lakes for the weekend and found this place. Was located just outside cockermouth and close to the mountains and Keswick. Highly recommend for anyone and we’re even looking at staying again in the future 😀

Such a lovely place to stay with a dog and small child. Very spacious and clean and it worked perfectly for our family (especially the built in stair gate!) The enclosed outside space was perfect for access to ensure safety and avoid the busy road outside. Lots of little extras really made it different - toys for my son and all the extras for the dog! Host communicated very well and was friendly. Would definitely stay here again!!
