Great couple of days spent at Sandi and Richards's cosy place. Amenities all catered for, superb views, ideal of you want to relax as a family. You need to take the car if you wan to visit local places as walking only gets you so far before you hit a main road. We took our boxer dog who loved the enclosed back garden. Cockermouth is a 10 mins drive away to stock up. Definitely will try and return in the future.

The Mews was by far the best Airbnb I've stayed in. It was exactly as described, however the experience was so much more. During our stay we experienced some intense weather with wind and rain and hail, our walking/hiking plans were very happily revised to stay in, in front of the log fire with tea, wine and card games. The view from the living room window cannot be overstated. The quality and condition of everything from the bedding to the hand soaps, provided constant and lovely surprises. My wife and I had an amazing stay, and we intend to return soon with friends as the property was larger than expected and provides plenty of space for kids and dogs. Sandi was an incredible host, and very helpful with instructions and support. Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

Sandi's place was most comfortable. Everything worked just fine- the wifi was up and down- but we had been expecting that. I can definitely recommend The Mews - it was a wonderful place to spend a few days and close to so many activities and beautiful places in the area.

What can we can, this place is gorgeous. From the minute you pull up you see all the charm that this place holds. And the view from the living space...wow! Highly recommended would definitely stay again.
