I cannot express how great Paul and his cabin was. We were so close to Muir valley for climbing. Paul gave us so many amazing recommendations for climbs, food, and other activities. His cabin was huge and had everything we needed to make ourself at home. He was readily available through message the entire stay. I so highly recommend staying here and adding a day or two to the time you think you’ll want because this place was just amazing!! Thank you Paul!

Paul is an exceptional host! He goes above and beyond to give his guests an incredible experience- not only in his home but in the entire RRG area. He sent us personalized hikes based on our interests, maps, detailed guides, restaurant recommendations and specific instructions for the house that made staying there feel like home. Paul is clearly dedicated to providing a unique opportunity for others to come to RRG and have the best time possible. You will love this home and having Paul as your host!

Fantastic place to stay. Very comfortable and relaxing. Paul was a super host giving a fantastic list of recommendations for hikes and everything else. Home was as described. Easy to access and hiking was within 5-15 minute drive. Will definitely stay here in the future when we plan to explore Red River Gorge!

If you want to spend quality time in Muir Valley and stay some place clean, beautiful, and comfortable, this is the place. Paul is an A+ communicator and knows Muir well. His house is well-made and thoughtfully designed. His kitchen had everything we needed, there was ample hot water for us all to take showers at the end of the day, and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again in s heartbeat.

A gorgeous cabin tucked away from heavy traffic, and a beautiful area of Kentucky, surrounded by lots of rock, climbing areas, hiking, and absolutely gorgeous fall colors at the right time of year (we were there in late October). Has a beautiful giant porch and great fire pit, ping-pong table, very nice rustic cabin field with all the amenities you could want and a nice open area with lots of space. Paul went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, and to communicate with us before, during, and after our stay.
