Wolf Chalet is our newly renovated cozy chalet with a fire place (wood provided) that sits amongst a few other cabins on our 20 acre, riverfront property. The 2 private queen rooms will provide a great space for you to relax and unwind. Golden is only a short drive away (13kms) and all amenities are there - great restaurants, grocery stores (cabin has basic kitchen) and more. We are usually on site but you have a door code for the cabin and we leave a phone number. Our property is very beautiful with stunning views of mountains and the Blaeberry River. Wolf Chalet lives right in the middle of it all with access to the river path. We offer Wifi in the main lodge only and the TV in the cabin is for DVD's only - bring some or choose from our large selection (in the main lodge). Cozy up by the fire (inside or out) after a fun day hiking, biking or exploring the outdoors and unwind.

We stayed at Stef's place for 3 nights and used it as a home-base for our hiking trips in the region. the cottage has everything one needs for an active holiday and during the night the fire pit and DVD-Player with a huge choice of DVDs in the main-house kept us entertained. Although the cottage is close to the paved highway it is quiet at night . If you want to be close to nature I can highly recommend this place.

There is no restaurant or store on site - Golden is 13kms away. Please be sure to bring groceries for your stay - the cabin has a fridge and basic kitchen.
We have a communal BBQ area for you to use if you don't want to use the kitchen in your cabin.
WINTER: Please make sure you have good winter tires on your vehicle - our access road is highway maintained and after heavy snowfalls, it can sometimes take a day or two for them to get around to it. Winter boots are a must! We tend to get quite a bit of snow and we want you to be able to get out and explore - if you have snowshoes, even better. We have a few pairs here you can borrow if not.
FALL: Parking is available a short walk from the cabin.
SUMMER - Wolf Chalet is normally not available during the summer months.
Golden is such a magical little town - lot's of biking, hiking or just simply hanging out. Great pubs and restaurants are available as well and you can be sure to be greeted by friendly locals eager to chat.
Leave yourself time when driving from Calgary - lot's of construction going on during the summer months to make hwy 1 flow better in the future. Always check DriveBC prior to departure.
