My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon in Florence and this place was perfect. Amazing location and very clean. We debated on staying in other areas in Florence, and we’re thankful we ended up choosing this location. We walked from the train station with our luggage (about 15-20 minutes). I will say be prepared because the roads/sidewalks are uneven everywhere you go, as expected, so rolling luggage isn’t the easiest thing. When you arrive to the address there’s a bunch of doors that look similar, but they all have numbers on them so it’s not difficult to find. As far as the location, when you walk out your doors, there’s shops and even some jazz/bands that perform on the streets at night. Nothing overwhelming, very peaceful. Lots of shops and restaurants within steps from the entrance. The furthest we had to walk from this place was about 25 minutes to the bus tour we took up north of the train station. I highly, highly recommend this place! Great hosts as well.

Although the location was convenient, it was a very noisy area. We carefully read the reviews, the reviews stated ‘quiet’. Our experience was just the opposite! They were working on the apartment below us, with saws and pounding. The bedroom was above a very busy pedestrian street, a small band played right below our window ( not pleasant music), there was also lots of voices and noises until 2-3AM. For some guests, this would not be a problem, I just wished it had been identified in the description.- We would not have chosen this apartment.
