We really enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse. The views were incredible and there are so many walks available right from the front door, including High Wheeldon hill which is very easy to get to and offers unspoilt views of the Peak District! The Farmhouse itself is immaculate with excellent decor and amenities. There are 9 other cottages on site with a small shop, outdoor play area and indoor games room. We would not hesitate to book again!

Immaculate property with everything you need for a home from home experience. The kitchen had everything you could desire (from kids plastic cups to measuring jugs) and the house was very warm and cosy. The honesty shop, welcome pack, and the staples provided made it much easier to settle in without a huge shopping trip. The games room kept the kids entertained and even had a kitchen also well equipped and immaculate to keep adults well provided for with tea during the air hockey matches! We borrowed a variety of toys and games on rotation which our boys (4 and 7) enjoyed enormously. We made use of the hot tub (although it is a very lengthy process to heat in the Winter- thank goodness for the instructions in the guest book). We also did some suggested walks from the guest info booklet that were lovely. The views are stunning. We will definitely plan for a return trip in warmer weather as February rain was the only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect about this place!

Excellent farmhouse, very well kitted out in kitchen and bathrooms. Bonus was the availability of shelving in the utility room to put stuff we had brought with us. The hamper on arrival was excellent - thanks Steve! Beds were very comfortable and spacious rooms. Ground heating meant the entire house was lovely and toasty in mid winter, even during the wet spell we had throughout our stay. Loved the "shop" onsite which had essentials available should we need them (with an honesty box).

Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. Steve and Hazel gave us lots of recommendations of things to do. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with anything we could need. We struggled to get the hot tub started, but Steve kindly did it for us. We had a lovely stay and would come back, thank you for hosting us.
