This place can only be described as a hidden jewel and boy are we glad we found it. From the moment you drive into the Peak District you get the sense that something magical will take place at the end of your journey. Joe’s place is both peaceful and serene at the same time. The space is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The cottage has wonderful character and we had a marvellous time.

Lovely hosts and small details such as delicious cupcakes awaited our arrival. Was a great base for local attractions and those slightly further afield. Loved the original features and the beautiful surrounding landscape.

Absolutely loved this please we had a wonderful stay. Lovely cozy cottage in the Peak District, and we couldn't be happier! As pet owners, we appreciated how welcoming the place was for our furry friends. The cottage itself was charming and comfortable, offering the perfect ambiance to unwind. What truly made our trip special were the beautiful walks right on our doorstep—Thanks to Aiofe & Joe for making our break so memorable. We recommend this house to anyone looking for a pet-friendly getaway in nature! Thanks again 😊

We had a wonderful week at Joe's place. Hollinsclough is a tiny, secluded hamlet nestled amidst spectacular hills. If peace, quiet and great walking from the doorstep are what you're looking for - this is the place. The Old School House is cosy and comfortable, rustic and chic in equal measure. We had great walks each day then came home to light a fire and relax over dinner. There's even a (pretty well-tuned) piano. The comfy beds and noiseless nights meant we faced each day rested and restored. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout and we felt very much welcomed. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Fantastic cottage, perfect size for 6 couples and 2 dogs. Comfortable, beautiful and cosy. Hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Great location, with 2 cafes (one an honesty shop with local gifts) in the village and a couple of pubs a decent walk away.
