The best place to stay in Egypt. Saif is a remarkably generous and kind host. We arrived at midnight after 14hs in the train. He patiently waited for us and kept in touch all the time to make sure we could get to the island. He also helped us to arrange the trip to Abu-Simbel temple with an amazing company. Our driver, Sultan, was not only a driver, but a tour guide. During the entire trip he was telling us about Egypt, about Nubians, the dams and all the different things we could see while driving to the temple. The guest house was an amazing and quiet place where to relax, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was perfect as well. Everything was clean and tidy. If you can keep an open mind about alternative viewpoints Saif is great to talk to. It was refreshing to have a real conversation with someone in Egypt and further the mutual understanding of Western and Eastern cultures.

The owner, Mr. Sayf, is very kind and hospitable, making food for me and arranging a trip to Abu Simbel. The location on the island is very quiet and the island itself is also a nice place to be. It's kind of hard to find, but this is only an issue the first time.
